 1        AN ACT in relation to tobacco products.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  1.  Short  title.   This Act may be cited as the
 5    Tobacco Products Distribution Limitation Act.

 6        Section 5.  Sales of cigarettes in a pack of less than 20
 7    prohibited.  A person may not sell cigarettes in  a  pack  of
 8    less than 20 cigarettes to any other person.

 9        Section   10.  Distribution   of   free  tobacco  samples
10    prohibited.  A person may  not  distribute  or  cause  to  be
11    distributed  without  charge samples of tobacco in any of its
12    forms to any other person.

13        Section 15.  Penalties.
14        (a)  A person who violates  Section  5  of  this  Act  is
15    guilty of a petty offense with a fine not to exceed $50 for a
16    first  offense  and a fine not to exceed $250 for a second or
17    subsequent offense.
18        (b)  A person who violates Section  10  of  this  Act  is
19    guilty of a petty offense.
