 1        AN ACT concerning commercial transactions.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  Uniform  Commercial  Code is amended by
 5    changing Section 1-104 as follows:

 6        (810 ILCS 5/1-104) (from Ch. 26, par. 1-104)
 7        Sec. 1-104.  Construction against implicit  repeal.  This
 8    Act being a general act intended as a unified coverage of its
 9    subject matter, no part of it shall be deemed to be impliedly
10    repealed  by subsequent legislation if that such construction
11    can reasonably be avoided.
