 1        AN ACT in relation to highways.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The  Illinois  Highway  Code  is  amended  by
 5    changing Section 6-315 as follows:

 6        (605 ILCS 5/6-315) (from Ch. 121, par. 6-315)
 7        Sec.  6-315. An entry in the records, ledger, or official
 8    minute book of the district clerk,  stating  that  there  has
 9    been  a dedication of a public highway according to statutory
10    requirements or a certified copy of such record  and  papers,
11    relating  to  laying out, alteration, widening or vacation of
12    any township or district road shall be prima  facie  evidence
13    in  all cases that there was a dedication of a public highway
14    and  that  the  dedication  complied   with   all   statutory
15    requirements,  regardless  of  whether  supporting records or
16    documentation  of  the  dedication  is  available   all   the
17    necessary  antecedent provisions have been complied with, and
18    that the action of the highway commissioner or other  persons
19    and officers, in regard thereto, was regular in all respects.

21        Section  99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect upon
22    becoming law.
