 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, It has come to our  attention  that  Dr.  Thomas
 3    Halloran is being honored as the recipient of the 70th Annual
 4    AMBUCS First Citizen Award; and

 5        WHEREAS, Dr. Halloran has worked tirelessly to create and
 6    maintain   the   Danville   Area  Soccer  Complex;  he  gives
 7    generously of his time to mow, aerate, seed, and maintain the
 8    eight soccer fields that make up the complex; many  officials
 9    credit  him  for bringing the soccer complex to life in 1995;
10    and

11        WHEREAS, Dr. Halloran is an active and  energetic  member
12    of several civic organizations; in addition to serving on the
13    Soccer  Board,  he is a member of the United Way Board and is
14    active  with  Danville  Stadium  and   the   American   Heart
15    Association; and

16        WHEREAS,  When  he  is  not  acting as a groundskeeper or
17    doing other civic work, Dr. Halloran is an internal  medicine
18    specialist  in  the adult medicine department at Carle Clinic
19    in Danville; and

20        WHEREAS, Dr. Halloran has  been  described  as  having  a
21    commitment to high standards continually demonstrated through
22    the  countless hours he spends improving the projects he is a
23    part of and  as  a  great  advocate  for  recreation  and  an
24    ambassador for the city of Danville; therefore, be it

25        RESOLVED,   BY   THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES  OF  THE
26    NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS,  that
27    we  congratulate Dr. Thomas Halloran on being named recipient
28    of the 70th Annual AMBUCS First Citizen Award and commend him
29    for the dedication and service he has demonstrated  in  order
30    to receive such an honor; and be it further

31        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be

 2    continued success and happiness and as a token of our respect
 3    and esteem.
