| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives wish to congratulate Kelly Niemerg of |
| 4 |
| Effingham on being crowned the 2004 Miss Illinois County Fair |
| 5 |
| Queen; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Kelly Niemerg is the daughter of Carl Niemerg and |
| 7 |
| Glen and Coleen Gephart; she will graduate from Illinois State |
| 8 |
| University in May 2004 and then pursue a Masters in Speech |
| 9 |
| Pathology; upon completing her degree, she plans a career in |
| 10 |
| speech therapy for stroke patients; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Ms. Niemerg is the 45th State queen at the annual |
| 12 |
| pageant held during the Illinois Association of Agricultural |
| 13 |
| Fairs Convention in January of 2004; as Miss Illinois County |
| 14 |
| Fair Queen, she will be the official hostess of the Illinois |
| 15 |
| and DuQuoin State Fairs; she will also travel throughout the |
| 16 |
| State this summer to promote county fairs and the State fairs; |
| 17 |
| and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, She is a Dean's List scholar, was an IASC State |
| 19 |
| Honor Delegate, and was included in the National Society of |
| 20 |
| Collegiate Scholars; she is a member of the Student Speech and |
| 21 |
| Hearing Association and was her high school Senior Class |
| 22 |
| Vice-President and Prom Queen; she has volunteered her time to |
| 23 |
| the Special Olympics, the American Red Cross, and Habitat for |
| 24 |
| Humanity; and
|
| 25 |
| WHEREAS, In her free time, Kelly enjoys camping, canoeing, |
| 26 |
| dancing, crocheting, designing clothes, and playing cards with |
| 27 |
| her grandmother; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
