HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the State of Illinois wish to congratulate Donald L. Price of Mt. Carmel on being named 2004 Man-of-the-Year for the 511th Parachute Infantry Association; and

WHEREAS, The award is given for meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding service to the 511th Parachute Infantry Association during the previous year; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Price was recognized because of his extraordinary initiative and drive and because he undertook the development of several innovative programs to raise funds to support the budget of the Association; his successful and distinctive money raising accomplishments were very beneficial to the fiscal status of the Association; and

WHEREAS, The actions of Mr. Price have set an example for others to follow; he exhibits the qualities of dedication and determination that exemplify the airborne soldier; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Donald L. Price of Mt. Carmel on being named 2004 Man-of-the-Year for the 511th Parachute Infantry Association; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Donald L. Price as an expression of our respect and esteem.
