 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS,  The  members   of   the   Illinois   House   of
 3    Representatives  wish  to  recognize  notable  events  in the
 4    history of organizations of the State of Illinois; and

 5        WHEREAS,  The  LaMoine  Valley  Board  of   REALTORS   is
 6    celebrating  its 35th anniversary of distinguished service to
 7    REALTORS, the business community and  residents  of  Hancock,
 8    McDonough,  and  Schuyler  counties in west central Illinois;
 9    and

10        WHEREAS, Members of the LaMoine Valley Board of  REALTORS
11    faithfully serve homebuyers and sellers in the communities of
12    Adair,  Adrian,  Augusta, Bader, Bardolph, Basco, Beardstown,
13    Birmingham,   Bentley,   Blandinsville,   Bowen,    Brooklyn,
14    Browning,  Burnside,  Bushnell, Camden, Carthage, Colchester,
15    Colmar, Colusa, Dallas  City,  Denver,  Disco,    Doddsville,
16    Durham,  Elvaston,  Fandon, Ferris, Fredrick, Fountain Green,
17    Good Hope, Hamilton, Huntsville, Industry, LaCrosse, LaHarpe,
18    Littleton, Macomb, Nauvoo, New Philadelphia,  Pleasant  View,
19    Pontoosie,  Powellton,  Prairie City, Rey, Rushville, Sciota,
20    Sheldon  Grove,  Stillwell,  St.   Mary   Plymouth,   Sutter,
21    Tennessee,  Tioga,  Warsaw,  Walnut  Grove, Webster, and West
22    Point; and

23        WHEREAS,  Since  its  organization   in   1968   and   in
24    partnership with the Illinois Association of REALTORS and the
25    National Association of REALTORS, the Lamoine Valley Board of
26    REALTORS  has  provided  outstanding resources and leadership
27    for its member  REALTORS,  enhancing  their  professionalism,
28    ethical  standards and knowledge of the real estate industry;
29    and

30        WHEREAS, The LaMoine Valley Board of REALTORS has  served
31    as  the  voice  of  real  estate for local communities in its
32    river valley area,  promoting  the  value  of  homeownership,

 1    protecting  the  rights of property owners and supporting the
 2    American Dream for all residents; therefore, be it

 3        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES   OF   THE
 4    NINETY-THIRD  GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
 5    we congratulate the LaMoine Valley Board of REALTORS  on  the
 6    celebration of its 35th anniversary, and we further extend to
 7    them our wishes for continued success in their endeavors; and
 8    be it further

 9        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
10    presented to the LaMoine  Valley  Board  of  REALTORS  as  an
11    expression of our respect and esteem.
