 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The Illinois Association of Park Districts,  the
 3    Arlington Heights Park District, and the Village of Arlington
 4    Heights  have  recently  honored  Kathryn  Graham, Park Board
 5    Commissioner of the  Arlington  Heights  Park  District,  for
 6    thirty years of dedicated service; and

 7        WHEREAS,  Kathryn  Graham,  in  her  thirty years as Park
 8    Board Commissioner and, as  of  this  date,  is  the  longest
 9    serving  Commissioner of the Arlington Heights Park District;
10    she  has  tirelessly  served  the  interests  of  parks   and
11    recreation  as  a  leader in the Illinois Association of Park
12    Districts and in the community of Arlington Heights; and

13        WHEREAS, Kathryn Graham's commitment  for  improving  the
14    quality   of  life  in  Arlington  Heights,  through  leisure
15    services, has  been  unsurpassed  and  has  resulted  in  the
16    development   of  premier  recreational  facilities,  special
17    facilities,  and  the  acquisition  of  open  space  in   the
18    community; and

19        WHEREAS,   Kathryn   Graham   has  been  dynamic  in  the
20    advancement of parks and recreation on a State  and  national
21    level   striving   to   create   incomparable   services  and
22    recreational opportunities for individuals of all ages; and

23        WHEREAS, Kathryn Graham's allegiance to the betterment of
24    parks and recreation in this State has helped to  enrich  the
25    lives of countless Illinois residents; therefore, be it

26        RESOLVED,   BY   THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES  OF  THE
27    NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS,  that
28    we offer our heartiest congratulations to Kathryn Graham upon
29    serving  thirty years as a dedicated Commissioner of the Park
30    Board of the Arlington Heights Park  District,  and  that  we
31    express  our  appreciation  for  her many years of service to

 2        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
 3    presented to Kathryn Graham and to the Arlington Heights Park
 4    District Board.
