HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Mary Sue Conwell on August 13, 2004; and

WHEREAS, Mary Sue Conwell, also known as "Nook", was born to Willie P. Wilson and Dan Wilson on May 3, 1948 in Macon, Georgia; and

WHEREAS, One of her goals was to obtain her G.E.D.; she was a dedicated volunteer and a leader who encourage others that "anything is possible"; and

WHEREAS, She was respected and loved by family, friends, and any other person she came into contact with; along with cooking Sunday dinner, she also enjoyed attending Sunday service with the True Spirit Congregation accompanied by her niece, Jeanice Wilson; she made the life decision to devote her life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and became a new member of True Spirit International Ministry on July 11, 2004; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Mary Sue "Nook" Conwell will be deeply felt by many, especially her mother, Willie P. Wilson; her children, Mary Rosetta Conwell and Rodney Conwell; her three grandchildren, Tiffany (Duke) Conwell, Brandon (D-man) Conwell, and Jermail (Mailbox) Conwell; and her brothers and sisters, Lula Wilson, Patricia Wilson, Tina Wilson, Tammy Wilson, Vicky Wilson, Danny Wilson, and Timmy Wilson; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her father, Dan Wilson; her sister, Irma Sue Tucker, and her niece, Erica Wilson; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of Mary Sue "Nook" Conwell along with all who knew and loved her and extend our sincere condolences to her family and friends; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary Sue Conwell as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
