| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois are pleased to congratulate Angelo Kyle of |
| 4 |
| Lake County on being named President of the National |
| 5 |
| Association of Counties (NACo); and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Kyle was first elected to the NACo Executive |
| 7 |
| Committee as Second Vice-President in July of 2001; his |
| 8 |
| Presidential Initiatives will focus on affordable housing and |
| 9 |
| access to health care; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Kyle is a county board member from Lake |
| 11 |
| County, a post he has held for more than 10 years; he has |
| 12 |
| served on NACo's Board of Directors, working as a chair of the |
| 13 |
| Nominating Committee, Vice Chair of the Programs and Services |
| 14 |
| Committee, and as a member of the Community Economic |
| 15 |
| Development Steering Committee; he is a member of the Maritime |
| 16 |
| Affairs and Ports Task Force and the Welfare Reform Task Force; |
| 17 |
| and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, In Lake County, Mr. Kyle served as chair or vice |
| 19 |
| chair of several committees, including the Financial and |
| 20 |
| Administrative Committee, the Community and Economic |
| 21 |
| Development Committee, the Law and Judicial Committee, the |
| 22 |
| Minority Affairs Committee, and the Planning, Building, and |
| 23 |
| Zoning Committee; and
|
| 24 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Kyle is the former CEO and Past President of |
| 25 |
| the Lake County Urban League, Pastor of the Bethesda Baptist |
| 26 |
| Church, and President and CEO of TempTech Professional |
| 27 |
| Services; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
