| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to recognize notable achievements |
| 4 |
| of citizens of this State; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The Frankfort Preservation Foundation Board of |
| 6 |
| Directors has established a "Lifetime Service" Award program in |
| 7 |
| order to recognize, honor, and preserve the memory of citizens |
| 8 |
| and historic landmarks that exemplify the highest standards of |
| 9 |
| stewardship within its community; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, At a ceremony on August 13, 2004, at CD & Me, |
| 11 |
| Marian Glunz is being honored with the Civic Lifetime Service |
| 12 |
| Award for her volunteerism as a private citizen; she |
| 13 |
| exemplifies the meaning of volunteer with her 16-year service |
| 14 |
| as a Frankfort Village Trustee, and her active involvement with |
| 15 |
| the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce, Police and Fire Commission, |
| 16 |
| Historical Society, Plank Trail Commission, PTA, Frankfort |
| 17 |
| Garden Club, and Friends of the Library; therefore, be it
|
| 18 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 19 |
| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 20 |
| congratulate Marian Glunz on being honored with the Civic |
| 21 |
| Lifetime Service Award given by the Frankfort Preservation |
| 22 |
| Foundation Board of Directors for her outstanding |
| 23 |
| contributions to her community; and be it further
|
| 24 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to Marian Glunz as a token of our admiration.
