1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to recognize notable achievements
4 of citizens of this State; and

5     WHEREAS, The Frankfort Preservation Foundation Board of
6 Directors has established a "Lifetime Service" Award program in
7 order to recognize, honor, and preserve the memory of citizens
8 and historic landmarks that exemplify the highest standards of
9 stewardship within its community; and

10     WHEREAS, At a ceremony on Friday, August 13, 2004, at CD &
11 Me, Don Lorenz is being honored with the Life/Safety Lifetime
12 Service award for dedicating his entire adult life to the
13 Village of Frankfort, Illinois Fire Department; and

14     WHEREAS, Mr. Lorenz has served this organization in every
15 prominent role and currently serves as an elected Trustee;
16 therefore, be it

17     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19 congratulate Don Lorenz on being honored with the Life/Safety
20 Lifetime Service award given by the Frankfort Preservation
21 Foundation Board of Directors; and be it further

22     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to Don Lorenz as an expression of our respect and
24 esteem.
