 1        AN ACT in relation to transportation.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  Bikeway  Act  is  amended  by  changing
 5    Section 3 as follows:

 6        (605 ILCS 30/3) (from Ch. 121, par. 603)
 7        Sec. 3.  The annual appropriation to the  Department  for
 8    purposes  of this Act shall include funds for the development
 9    of bicycle paths and a statewide State-wide bikeways  program
10    in  this  State.  In  addition, the Department may accept and
11    expend federal funds granted for bikeway purposes.
