20 ILCS 2310/2310-610 new

Amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the Civil Administration Code of Illinois. Authorizes the Department to make grants, subject to appropriation, for Sarcoidosis disease research.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section 2310-610 as follows:

(20 ILCS 2310/2310-610 new)

Sec. 2310-610. Sarcoidosis research grants. Subject to appropriation, the Department of Public Health is authorized to make grants to qualified Illinois entities for the research of Sarcoidosis disease. The Department by rule shall establish selection criteria, grant conditions, and grant monitoring procedures.
