520 ILCS 5/1.6

Amends the Wildlife Code. Makes technical changes in a Section concerning the propagation and stocking of mammals and birds.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT in relation to wildlife.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by changing Section 1.6 as follows:

(520 ILCS 5/1.6) (from Ch. 61, par. 1.6)

Sec. 1.6. Propagation and stocking. The Department, and persons authorized by it, may take, purchase or propagate, any mammals or birds, or eggs of any such birds for propagation and stocking purposes, and when so taken, may transmit them to parts of the State where a scarcity of those such birds or mammals exists, for the purpose of restocking those such parts of the State.
