SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

105 ILCS 5/2-3.135 new

Amends the School Code. Requires the State Board of Education to develop and market an Illinois trivia game based on questions submitted by Illinois elementary and secondary school students. Proceeds from the sale of the game shall be deposited into the Common School Fund.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section 2-3.135 as follows:

(105 ILCS 5/2-3.135 new)

Sec. 2-3.135. Illinois trivia game. The State Board of Education shall develop and market an Illinois trivia game based on questions submitted by Illinois elementary and secondary school students. Proceeds from the sale of the game shall be deposited into the Common School Fund.
