Amends the School Code. Makes technical changes in a Section concerning school treasurers.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT in relation to education.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section 8-3 as follows:

(105 ILCS 5/8-3) (from Ch. 122, par. 8-3)

Sec. 8-3. Compensation. Each school treasurer shall receive in full, for his or her services, a compensation to be fixed, prior to his or her appointment, and such compensation shall not be decreased during his or her term of office.
