SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

50 ILCS 345/35

Amends the Local Governmental Acceptance of Credit Cards Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning liability of local government employees.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT in relation to local government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Local Governmental Acceptance of Credit Cards Act is amended by changing Section 35 as follows:

(50 ILCS 345/35)

Sec. 35. Liability of local governmental employees. A local governmental employee who accepts payment by credit card in accordance with this Act and any applicable rules does shall not incur personal liability for the final collection of the payment.
