SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

735 ILCS 5/7-103.3

Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the exercise of "quick-take" eminent domain powers.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT in relation to civil procedure.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by changing Section 7-103.3 as follows:

(735 ILCS 5/7-103.3)

Sec. 7-103.3. Quick-take; Coal coal development purposes.

Quick-take proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used by the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity Community Affairs for the purpose specified in the Illinois Coal Development Bond Act.
