 1        AN ACT concerning local planning.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Local Planning Technical  Assistance  Act
 5    is amended by changing Section 40 as follows:

 6        (20 ILCS 662/40)
 7        Sec. 40.  Annual report.
 8        (a)  The Department may, at least annually but more often
 9    at  its  discretion,  report  in  writing to the Governor and
10    General Assembly on:
11             (1)  The results and impacts of county and municipal
12        activities  funded  by the grants authorized by this Act.
13             (2)  The distribution of the grants.
14             (3)  Model ordinances, manuals, and other  technical
15        publications prepared by the Department.
16             (4)  Educational and training programs  provided  by
17        the Department.
18        (b)  The  report may also be provided to all counties and
19    municipalities in this State, all regional planning  agencies
20    and  commissions  in  this State, the Illinois State Library,
21    all  public  libraries  in   this   State,   and   to   other
22    organizations  and libraries upon request at the Department's
23    discretion.
