 1        AN ACT concerning public utilities.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by adding
 5    Section 4-105 as follows:

 6        (220 ILCS 5/4-105 new)
 7        Sec.  4-105.  Construction  or  extension   of   electric
 8    transmission lines. The Commission must take into account the
 9    effect  on  residential  property  values  when it determines
10    whether  to  allow  construction  or  extension  of  electric
11    transmission lines.
