 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof  as
 5    may  be  necessary,  is appropriated from the General Revenue
 6    Fund to the Department of  Human  Services  for  a  grant  to
 7    Children's  Place for costs associated with specialized child
 8    care for families affected by HIV/AIDS.

 9        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act  takes  effect  on
10    July 1, 2003.
