 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The sum of $1,500,000, or so much thereof as
 5    may be necessary, is appropriated from  the  General  Revenue
 6    Fund to the Illinois Department of Human Services for a grant
 7    to   the   Illinois  Assistive  Technology  Project  for  the
 8    establishment  and  operation  of  an  Assistive   Technology
 9    Evaluation and Training Center.

10        Section  99.  Effective  date.   This Act takes effect on
11    July 1, 2003.
