 1        AN ACT in relation to child support.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The Non-Support Punishment Act is amended by
 5    changing Section 5 as follows:

 6        (750 ILCS 16/5)
 7        Sec. 5.  Prosecution  Prosecutions  by  State's  Attorney
 8    Attorneys.   A  proceeding for enforcement of this Act may be
 9    instituted and prosecuted by the  several  State's  Attorneys
10    only upon the filing of a verified complaint by the person or
11    persons receiving child or spousal support.
