 1        AN ACT concerning higher education.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Board of Higher Education Act is  amended
 5    by adding Section 9.30 as follows:

 6        (110 ILCS 205/9.30 new)
 7        Sec.  9.30.  Dual  enrollment  status pilot program.  The
 8    Board, in cooperation with  the  Illinois  Community  College
 9    Board,  may  establish  a  pilot  program that would enable a
10    student to hold dual enrollment status by attending a  public
11    community college and a public university at the same time.
