 1        AN ACT  in  relation  to  the  Statewide  Organized  Gang
 2    Database.

 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section 5.  The Statewide Organized Gang Database Act  is
 6    amended by changing Section 5 as follows:

 7        (20 ILCS 2640/5)
 8        Sec. 5.  Definitions.  As used In this Act:
 9        "Department" means the Department of State Police.
10        "Director" means the Director of State Police.
11        "Organized  gang"  has  the  meaning  ascribed  to  it in
12    Section 10  of  the  Illinois  Streetgang  Terrorism  Omnibus
13    Prevention Act.
14        A   "SWORD   terminal"  is  an  interactive  computerized
15    communication and  processing  unit  that  permits  a  direct
16    on-line  communication  with the Department of State Police's
17    central  data  repository,  the  Statewide   Organized   Gang
18    Database (SWORD).
