 1        AN ACT concerning townships.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Township  Code  is  amended  by  changing
 5    Section 210-20 as follows:

 6        (60 ILCS 1/210-20)
 7        Sec.  210-20.  Annual budget and appropriation ordinance.
 8    Whenever the township  board  makes  a  contract  under  this
 9    Article  requiring that requires the declaration of a special
10    refuse collection and  disposal  district,  the  board  shall
11    include  in the annual budget and appropriation ordinance for
12    each fiscal year an appropriation of a sum of  money,  to  be
13    derived  from  taxation  extended  upon  the  special  refuse
14    collection  and  disposal  district,  sufficient  to  pay the
15    amount that, by the terms of the contract, is to  become  due
16    and payable.
