 1        AN ACT concerning drug treatment services.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Unified Code of Corrections is amended by
 5    adding Section 5-6-3.3 as follows:

 6        (730 ILCS 5/5-6-3.3 new)
 7        Sec.  5-6-3.3.  Court-ordered  drug  treatment  services;
 8    probation.   Providers  of  drug  treatment  services ordered
 9    pursuant to item (8) of subsection (a) of Section 5-6-3 shall
10    notify the  circuit  clerk  of  the  court  who  ordered  the
11    treatment within 7 working days after treatment is terminated
12    or  no  longer being provided, regardless of the reason.  The
13    providers shall refund to  the  court  any  amount  paid  for
14    services not provided on a per diem basis.
