 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  sum  of $18,609,600, or so much of that
 5    amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the  General
 6    Revenue  Fund to the Department of Public Health for expenses
 7    of AIDS/HIV Education, Drugs, Services, Counseling,  Testing,
 8    Referral  and  Partner  Notification (CTRPN), and Patient and
 9    Worker Notification pursuant to Public Act 87-763.

10        Section 99.  Effective date. This  Act  takes  effect  on
11    July 1, 2003.
