 1        AN ACT concerning criminal matters.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Code of Criminal  Procedure  of  1963  is
 5    amended by adding Section 110A-62 as follows:

 6        (725 ILCS 5/110A-62 new)
 7        Sec.  110A-62.  A person who violates an order of a court
 8    prohibiting him or her from coming into contact with  another
 9    person,  coming  within  a  certain  distance  of  a  person,
10    videotaping  a  person,  or  photographing  a  person  may be
11    ordered, without process, to enter  into  a  recognizance  to
12    keep  the  peace for a period not exceeding 12 months, and in
13    case of refusal be committed as in other cases.  This Section
14    110A-62 applies without regard  to  whether  the  person  who
15    violates  the  order is related to the person who applied for
16    the court order.
