 1        AN ACT concerning public funds.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Public Funds Investment Act is amended by
 5    changing Section 5 as follows:

 6        (30 ILCS 235/5) (from Ch. 85, par. 905)
 7        Sec. 5. This Act, without reference to any other statute,
 8    shall   be   deemed  full  and  complete  authority  for  the
 9    investment of public funds, as hereinabove provided  in  this
10    Act,  and shall be construed as an additional and alternative
11    method therefor.
