 1        AN ACT concerning State Parks.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  State  Parks Act is amended by changing
 5    Section 1 as follows:

 6        (20 ILCS 835/1) (from Ch. 105, par. 465)
 7        Sec. 1. The Department of Natural  Resources  shall  have
 8    the  care,  control, supervision, and management of all State
 9    parks heretofore acquired by the State,  or  that  which  may
10    hereafter  be  acquired,  and  all  easements  appurtenant or
11    contributory thereto; such parks to be open to and to be  for
12    the  benefit  and  enjoyment of all the people of this State,
13    subject to the rules and regulations of the Department.
