 1        AN ACT concerning the regulation of professions.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Professional Boxing  Act  is  amended  by
 5    changing Section 7 as follows:

 6        (225 ILCS 105/7) (from Ch. 111, par. 5007)
 7        (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2012)
 8        Sec.  7.  Permits.   In order to conduct a boxing contest
 9    in this State, a promoter shall obtain a permit issued by the
10    Department in accordance with this  Act  and  the  rules  and
11    regulations  adopted  pursuant  thereto.   This  permit shall
12    authorize one or  more  contests  or  exhibitions.  A  permit
13    issued under this Act is not transferable.
