HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Zachary Aaron Inyart of the Village of Claremont in Richland County on the publication of his first book, A Little Nosey; and

WHEREAS, Zack Inyart is the only child of Jeffrey and Patricia Inyart, also of Claremont; he graduated from East Richland High School in 2012; and

WHEREAS, As an autistic person, Zack Inyart has faced many challenges along the way of fulfilling one of his dreams of publishing a book; and

WHEREAS, Zack Inyart was sometimes picked on at school and ostracized by his peers due to his inability to read social cues and respond accordingly; this challenge was also compounded by Tourette's Syndrome, another disability with which he continually struggles; however, neither of these disabilities has kept him from pursuing the things he loves to do, including publishing his first book and learning most anything related to animals; and

WHEREAS, Zack Inyart also has an affinity for writing, drawing, compiling video clips, and imagining new toy ideas; in addition, he has his own YouTube channel, Uranimatedl8; and

WHEREAS, Zack Inyart has made a great impact on many people who have seen him as an individual with talent and someone of worth; these people have embraced his kind, gentle spirit and seen past the outward characteristics of the tics of Tourette's Syndrome or his inability to look them in the eyes when attempting conversations that are many times one-sided; these are his fellow volunteers at Master's Hands, a community charity where he volunteers when not working his part-time job at the local Burger King; these people are also his former teachers and Burger King regulars who came to his local book signing to congratulate him and buy an autographed copy of his book; and

WHEREAS, A Little Nosey was written in 2017 and published by Page Publishing in 2019; and

WHEREAS, Little Nosey is an Indian elephant calf whose intense curiosity brings him adventures he never imagined; Little Nosey was inspired by Zack Inyart's love of animals and his intense curiosity about all animals, particularly elephants; and

WHEREAS, Zack Inyart has always liked adventure stories and has dreamed of one day going on his own adventure in places like Africa or India because he knows there are so many wonderful animals there to learn about; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Zachary Aaron Inyart on the publication of his first book, A Little Nosey, wish him further success, and commend his perseverance in the face of obstacles; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Zachary Inyart as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
