HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. on celebrating 105 years of service, community, and brotherhood; and

WHEREAS, Phi Beta Sigma is an international organization of leaders that makes a difference in the lives of many young men and society as a whole; and

WHEREAS, Phi Beta Sigma's goal is to create sustainable, measurable programs that provide a long-term impact within communities and provide for long-term financial solvency for the organization; and

WHEREAS, Phi Beta Sigma's motto for the upcoming year is "Rewrite the Narrative"; and

WHEREAS, Phi Beta Sigma has a continuous aim to create a brotherhood experience that goes beyond America's expectations; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. on celebrating 105 years of service, community, and brotherhood; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Phi Beta Sigma as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
