Synopsis As Introduced Creates the Tree Expert Licensing Act. Provides for the licensure of tree experts by the Department of Agriculture. Establishes the Tree Expert Licensing Board. Sets forth powers and duties of the Department and the Board, licensure requirements, grounds for discipline, penalties for violation of the Act, and administrative procedure. Includes provisions concerning exemption from the Act. Limits home rule powers. Amends the Regulatory Sunset Act to set a repeal date of January 1, 2019 for the new Act. Amends the State Finance Act to establish the Tree Expert Licensing Fund. Effective immediately. Actions
