Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Chicago School District Article of the School Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the application of the Article and definitions.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
105 ILCS 5/34-1
Adds reference to:
105 ILCS 5/10-20.12from Ch. 122, par. 10-20.12

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the School Code. Provides that schools shall be maintained to accommodate all person in the school district who will attain the age of 5 years on or before December 1 (instead of September 1).

 Land Conveyance Appraisal Note, House Committee Amendment No. 1 (Dept. of Transportation)
 No land conveyances are included in this bill, therefore, there are no appraisals to be filed.

 Correctional Note, House Committee Amendment No. 1 (Dept of Corrections)
 This bill has no fiscal or population impact on the Department of Corrections.

 State Debt Impact Note, House Committee Amendment No. 1 (Government Forecasting & Accountability)
 HB 2736 (H-AM 1) would not change the amount of authorization for any type of State-issued or State-supported bond, and, therefore, would not affect the level of State indebtedness.
