Illinois General Assembly - Bill Status for EO1515

Creates the Local Government Consolidation and Unfunded Mandates Task Force with specified duties regarding the review and analysis of local government and school district consolidation and unfunded mandates. Contains provisions concerning composition and meetings of the Task Force. Provides that the Task Force shall submit a report to the Governor and the General Assembly by December 31, 2015 with specific recommendations to consolidate local governments and school districts. Provides that the Department of Central Management Services shall provide administrative support to the Task Force. Contains provisions regarding: dissolution of the Task Force; transparency; severability; and other matters. Effective immediately.
