Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Power Agency Act. Changes the definition of "renewable energy resources" to include biogas and biosolids produced by municipal wastewater treatment plants in the State. Effective immediately.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes everything after the enacting clause and reinserts the bill as introduced, with the following change: provides that "renewable energy resources" includes biogas and biosolids produced by local government (instead of municipal) wastewater treatment plants in the State. Effective immediately.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Power Agency Act. Changes the definition of "renewable energy resources" to include anaerobic digestion. Effective immediately.
