Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Assisted Living and Shared Housing Act. In connection with the issuance of a license under the Act, requires that all employees (instead of only direct care staff) meet the requirements of the Health Care Worker Background Check Act. Effective immediately.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Provides for the issuance of a license to an assisted living or shared housing establishment if all employees who are subject to the Health Care Worker Background Check Act meet the requirements of that Act (instead of if all employees meet the requirements of the Health Care Worker Background Check Act).
