Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Hospital Licensing Act. Provides that every hospital must adopt policies and procedures to ensure that, in making decisions concerning the treatment of a patient at the hospital, health care professionals must take into account the patient's religious beliefs.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Hospital Licensing Act. Provides that every hospital must adopt policies and procedures to allow health care professionals, in documenting a patient's time of death at the hospital, to take into account the patient's religious beliefs concerning the patient's time of death.
