Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
625 ILCS 5/1-100
Adds reference to:
625 ILCS 5/13B-27 new

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a vehicle automatically fails the emission inspection required under the Code if it is equipped with a muffler or exhaust system that has been modified to amplify or increase the noise of the vehicle above the noise of the muffler or exhaust system originally installed in the vehicle.

House Floor Amendment No. 3
Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a vehicle automatically fails the emission inspection required under the Code if, based on visual observation, it is equipped with a muffler or exhaust system that clearly has been modified to amplify or increase the noise of the vehicle.
