Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Personnel Code with respect to exemptions. Removes exemptions for scientific and technical staff of the Illinois State Museum; scientific staff of the State Scientific Surveys and Waste Management and Research Center; technical and engineering staffs of the Department of Nuclear Safety, Pollution Central Board, and Illinois Commerce Commission; technical and engineering staff of the Department of Central Management Services; and hearing officers of the Human Rights Commission. Amends the Capital Development Board Act. Removes a provision stating that technical and engineering personnel are not subject to the Personnel Code.

 Fiscal Note (Department of Central Management Services)
 The Department of Central Management Services anticipates no fiscal impact from this bill.
