Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Cook County Article of the Illinois Pension Code. For certain surviving spouses who are less than age 55, waives the reduction in minimum annuity based on age if the deceased member had at least 20 years of service credit (currently requires 30). Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.

 The fiscal impact of HB 2803 has not been calculated, but is estimated to be relatively minor.
