Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Tanning Facility Permit Act. Provides that the Department of Public Health may deny a permit under the Act, or refuse to renew a permit, in the case of an owner or operator who is certified by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services as being more than 30 days delinquent in complying with a child support order or who is certified by a court as being in violation of the Non-Support Punishment Act for more than 60 days.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Provides that the Department of Public Health may deny a permit to an applicant (instead of an owner or operator) who is delinquent in complying with a child support order or who is in violation of the Non-Support Punishment Act.
