Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Provides that a person or entity that recovers coal waste from abandoned mines for the purpose of reuse or recycling is exempt from certain fees. Effective immediately.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Provides that certain fees do not apply to a person or entity that recovers coal waste from abandoned mines for the purpose of reuse or recycling, only if that person or entity no longer has a point source discharge created from the operation. Effective immediately.
