Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Act. Increases a personal care attendant's minimum hourly wage to $6 beginning July 1, 2003, and $7 beginning January 1, 2004. Effective July 1, 2003.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Provides that personal care attendants shall be paid an $8 (instead of $6) per hour minimum rate beginning July 1, 2003 and a $9 (instead of $7) per hour minimum rate beginning January 1, 2004.
