Synopsis As Introduced
Creates the Feral Cat Task Force to examine the Animal Control Act, the Humane Care for Animals Act, the Animal Welfare Act, and any other relevant statutory provisions and make comprehensive written recommendations for change.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes everything and replaces it with similar language.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes everything and replaces it with similar language. Adds references to the Illinois Animal Population Control Fund and its role in helping communities pay for community control efforts. Adds a representative appointed by the Department of Public Health to the Task Force. Directs the Department of Public Health to provide administrative support to the Task Force.
