Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Cable and Video Competition Law of 2007 in the Public Utilities Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title of the Article.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 2
Deletes reference to:
220 ILCS 5/21-100
Adds reference to:
20 ILCS 2105/2105-165

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Department of Professional Regulation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that if a licensed health care worker has been convicted of a forcible felony, other than a forcible felony requiring registration under the Sex Offender Registration Act, and the health care worker has had his or her license revoked, the health care worker may petition the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to restore the license. Establishes factors that the Department shall consider in determining whether a license shall be restored. Further provides that this process for petition and review by the Department shall apply to a person whose licensed is denied under certain provisions of the Code.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Department of Professional Regulation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Reinstates the provisions of the bill, but adds involuntary sexual servitude of a minor to the offenses for which a health care worker license can be denied or revoked. Provides the petition process for issuance or restoration of a license for a conviction of a forcible felony does not apply to a forcible felony requiring registration under the Sex Offender Registration Act or involuntary sexual servitude of a minor that is a forcible felony.
