Senate Floor Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with the following addition: includes persons who reside at a facility licensed under the Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Act of 2013 to the list of persons who shall receive from both State and federal sources a total monthly personal needs allowance that equals $60. Effective immediately.

The proposal would increase Personal Needs Allowance (PNA) for Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILA) and Intermediate Care Facilities for Persons with Developmental Disabilities (ICF/DD) to $60 per month. The current PNA for CILA is $50 per month and $30 per month for ICFDD. There are approximately 11,300 individuals in CILA and 4,900 individuals residing in ICFDDs. Estimated fiscal cost would be $3.2 million.
